A good coach can change a game. A great coach can change a life.
— John Wooden

Our coaching staff is a family figuratively and literally. Courtney Bland started coaching at Duchesne High School in 2002. She coached Maggie ('05), Erin ('06), Katie ('07), Abbie ('11) and Sarah ('12). She made 2 final four appearances with members of our coaching staff. Maggie joined her the last 3 seasons at Duchesne. After a short break from coaching, Courtney and Maggie joined St. Dominic in 2014-2015 season. This was also the year their dream of having a volleyball feeder program came true. Since then many past players have come to pass on their volleyball knowledge and love by coaching in the program. Which is a great testament to the type of coach Courtney was to all of us and continues to be in our program. Every coach in our program has played for us or mentored under us, which creates a great continuity throughout the coaching your daughter could receive year after year in our program.

We strive to lead with our Christian values, foster a positive learning environment, and lead by example. We also teach the other important aspects of athletics such as body language, teamwork, and nutrition. Our coaches come from many different backgrounds however we are all passionate about the game of volleyball. Our coaching staff prides themselves on their high expectations, competitive spirit, and fostering a love for the game. We support each other and our players to do nothing but our very best.
